Lan Kwai Fong (often abbreviated as LKF) is a small square of streets in Central, Hong Kong. The area was dedicated to hawkers before the Second World War, but underwent a renaissance in the mid-1980s. It is now a popular expatriate haunt in Hong Kong for drinking, clubbing and dining. The street Lan Kwai Fong is L-shaped with two ends joining with D'Aguilar Street.[1]
Lan Kwai Fong as an area is defined by D'Aguilar Street and the smaller lane, Lan Kwai Fong, an L-shaped, cobble-stoned lane. Both streets turn 90 degrees to form a rectangle. It is near the Mid-Levels. Its eating and drinking establishments are considered upmarket in price and the area is also considered a tourist spot. From the west side of the rectangle, Wo On Lane and Wing Wah Lane extend to host several more spots for drinks and food. The area arguably extends to Wellington Street and Wyndham Street, through to the Hong Kong Fringe Club. It is also home to a small number of art galleries.
After the opening of the disco club \"Disco Disco\" by Gordon Huthart on 23 December 1978 in the basement of 40 D'Aguilar Street, the development of the Lan Kwai Fong area accelerated, making it famous all over the world. The disco club was once popular among celebrities and expats, but then it was closed in 1986. [2][3]

Gui DE Lusignan king of Jerusalem, and first king of Cyprus, was born about 1140. He belonged to an ancient family of Limousin, which had distinguished itself in the first crusades. In 1180 he married Sibylla, the sister of Baldwin IV, king of Jerusalem, the widow of William of Montferrat. That princess brought him in dowry Ascalon and Joppa, and Baldwin, who had been attacked with an incurable disease, conferred upon Gui the government of the kingdom of Jerusalem. But his incapacity and pride made him unbearable to the lords, who disputed over the feeble remains of the Frankish power in the East. Baldwin soon began to regret his choice, and in 1183 took back the power from Gui de Lusignan to give it to the count of Tripolis. This gave occasion for a new civil war within the kingdom, which lasted till the death of Baldwin IV, in 1185. He had for his successor Baldwin V, a child of six years, the son of Sibylla and of William of Montferrat; but the youth died in 1186, shortly after his uncle, probably of poison administered to him by Gui. Having become heiress to the throne of Jerusalem, the sister of Baldwin IV announced her intention. of separating from her husband, and of giving the crown to the most worthy of the French lords. She published the divorce in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre; Heraclius, patriarch of Jerusalem, pronouncing the separation. Sibylla, after having taken back the crown, gave it to Gui de Lusignan, and thus disgusted most of the French lords. Soon afterwards again Gui showed incapacity. Saladin, with his troops, continually invaded the country, and on the morning of July 4, 1187, threw himself with his Mohammedans upon a small body of Christian soldiers, who were encamped about the hill Hattin, near Lake Tiberias. Gui, with Reynold of Chftillon and other commanders were taken prisoners. Gui bought his liberty by restoring Ascalon to Saladin, and Jerusalem capitulated October 2, 1187. Thus ended the Latin kingdom founded by Godfrey de Bouillon, after a duration of eighty-nine years. The only use that Gui made of his title of King of Jerusalem was in ceding it to Richard, in 1192, as a price of sovereignty over the island of Cyprus, which that prince had taken from the small Greek tyrant Isaac Comnenus; he also bound himself to pay back the twenty-five thousand marks which the Templars had given to Richard. Cyprus was devastated and nearly deserted; Gui peopled it again by drawing colonists from Armenia and Antioch. He also offered an asylum to a great number who fled from the domination of the Mohammedans in Palestine. After a peaceful reign of two years he died, in 1194, and transmitted his crown to his brother Amaury. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.

Unsurprisingly, we were shocked by the sheer difference, but the results are simply months of hard work, listening to our community and real testament to how well our software development team have optimised the automated multi-miner feature. We would expect experienced GPU rig miners who have applied overclocking settings and optimised their environments per hashing algorithm to see returns of 20-30% higher than the same two competitors when running a comparison benchmark test.
Nasubi is an obese figure with narrow eyes and a top knot. He has long, curvy eyebrows, eyelashes, and mustache.[1] He wears traditional, ornamented clothing that is adorned with jewels, which emphasizes his status as a king.[3]
He has good control of his emotions as he remains calm despite the demise of his daughter Momoze. Instead, he states that she has become the foundation of the great tree of Kakin and continues to live more vibrantly than ever before. From his words, he seems to genuinely love and care for his children, despite encouraging them to fight to the death in order to gain the throne.[6] To Halkenburg he said that the succession contest is a price the future ruler of Kakin has to pay for the well-being of the people, and that this evil is necessary for a king.[7]
Nasubi decrees that all his legal children who board the Black Whale and take part in the departure ceremony will be allowed to compete, and the contest will be canceled should any prince die before then. Before letting Nugui go, he gives him the Seed Urn and recounts its history, stating that a weak vessel will never become king.[2] When some of his wives and children post requests for bodyguards, Nasubi prohibits the inclusion of any detail that might reveal the identity of the hiring party.[4]
First Prince Zhang Lei and then Prince Camilla approach Nasubi to inquire about specifics of his statement regarding the succession contest, with Camilla asking him to accept nothing short of biological death as the condition to drop out. To both of them, he responds that the way his words are interpreted as part of the contest itself. Benjamin belittles Camilla and the two get into an argument. Annoyed by her elder brother's comments, Camilla berates him, but Nasubi demands that she show her older brother respect. Annoyed, Prince Camilla leaves and an enraged Benjamin promises his father that he'll take care of Camilla and preserve the family lineage. Nasubi responds that he expects great things from him.[5]
On Friday, Halkenburg forces his way through security and, holding Nasubi at gunpoint, orders him to stop the succession contest. Nasubi replies that he has neither the ability nor the intention to do so. He urges Halkenburg to take action, and his son shoots him, but Nasubi's Guardian Spirit Beast blocks the bullet. He summons Nugui, who explains that such an eventuality was predicted and that no punishment will be dealt with. Halkenburg shoots himself in retaliation, only for his suicide to be prevented by his own Guardian Spirit Beast. Nasubi then speaks about the trolley problem and about how they're actually is no binary choice in the succession contest, since the people, and through it, Kakin has a priority over the princes' survival. He tells Halkenburg that it is necessary if the unpleasant task that the future king must undertake, and that he needs to seize power before changing Kakin. Halkenburg drops his gun and walks out, fully determined to win the succession contest.[7]
As the king of Kakin, Nasubi has authority over its citizens, wealth and, presumably, the armed forces. He is also a good demagogue. He is also a capable monarch with an immense charisma as Kakin retains its reputation as one of the world's most prosperous nations and superpower under his rule.[1] When he makes a public appearance before the departure of the Black Whale, his subjects cheer him on enthusiastically.[3]
Having won the succession contest of his generation,[8] Nasubi is endowed with both great willpower and intelligence. He deems foresight and planning necessary skills for a king, and he gave proof of the former by anticipating that one of his children would go after his life and leaving dispositions for that eventuality in advance.[7]
Nasubi received a parasitic-type Guardian Spirit Beast when he undertook the Seed Urn Ceremony, which was shaped by his personality, but which he has no control over.[2] It is presumed to be quite powerful since it allowed him to win a succession contest.[8] The only ability it has shown so far is blocking a bullet fired at Nasubi, who explained it as his being unable to die until the completion of the succession contest due to having a part to play in it.[7] Unlike his children,[5] Nasubi seems to be capable of seeing their Guardian Spirit Beasts,[13] possibly due to his being from a different generation. 59ce067264
