A. The quality of the picture is excellent, we will say camcorder quality or Handycam quality . You can use it as a regular surveillance camera as well as using it in seeing through some types of materials, clothing materials or even dark windows or dark sunglasses.
X-ray vision has existed in the realm of science fiction, provoking exciting thought and ideas. While the idea of seeing through solid objects has long captured our imaginations, the question remains: Is there really such a thing as x-ray glasses?
Remember those ads in the back of comic books with the crazy X-ray glasses? You know... they had plastic frames and cardboard eye-covers with holes in them (presumably so you wouldn't face-plant while walking); and the cardboard had these wild spirals on them...And they never worked. Ever. How many of us were suckered in by the lure of seeing through a girl's shirt? Not that we really would've known what we were looking at, but still... it was taboo. And so we bought these pieces of trash and... nothing. Very disappointing.Until now.
Yep. These are the real deal. And while you won't be able to see through a safe (like Superman), you will be able to see through a vast majority of swimsuits. I find this disturbing, but I also see the draw, particularly if you're around 13-years-old.The glasses utilize infrared viewing technology. This allows them to penetrate certain materials (i.e. swimwear and various synthetic materials) much better than ultra-violet based optics. They function indoors and in the wild-low light doesn't appear to be a problem with these glasses.
They also come with a palm sized portable digital video recorder (imagine that...) so you can have a memoir of your peeping at 470 lines of resolution-in color. This device hooks up to the glasses through a thin cable. A wireless version is available as well.
I'd like to be able to show you some examples of what these glasses can do-but that would sort'a get me fired from this site. And I rather like it here. I will say that you can find examples through the source listed below.
And if those pictures are accurate, these glasses do what they're supposed to do.Not every country allows optics of this type. So if you buy these whoppers, make sure that you won't be spending the rest of your life in a "Midnight Express" kind of setting. Personally, I find no appeal in a Turkish-prison lifestyle. So how much do you think these real X-ray glasses cost? I wouldn't worry too much about a kid buying these. Unlike the X-ray glasses from the comic books, these suckers run $2400.00. The wireless version runs $400 more. If a kid could afford that... well that kid would either be the best entrepreneur on the planet or the demon spawn of a very well off family that simply doesn't monitor what their child is doing.I don't see many practical applications for this device-though it can be used as a surveillance camera for various undercover endeavors, sort of like the DVR glasses I wrote about not long ago.And while I find these things pretty cool, I think I'll hold off until they make glasses that can see through time. Then maybe I won't make so many mistakes in life...
If the $2400 price tag is a bit much, you may be able to get some cheaper thrills by getting yourself some really cool spy glasses. You can look behind you with secret mirror glasses or record thing secretly with video sunglasses. And for the prices offered, you could save yourself several thousand and still get yourself a new cool toy.
The availability of ultrafast pulses of coherent hard x rays from the Linac Coherent Light Source opens new opportunities for studies of atomic-scale dynamics in amorphous materials. Here, we show that single ultrafast coherent x-ray pulses can be used to observe the speckle contrast in the high-angle diffraction from liquid Ga and glassy Ni2Pd2P and B2O3. We determine the thresholds above which the x-ray pulses disturb the atomic arrangements. Furthermore, high contrast speckle is observed in scattering patterns from the glasses integrated over many pulses, demonstrating that the source and optics are sufficiently stable for x-ray photon correlation spectroscopy studies of dynamics over a wide range of time scales.
X-ray specs or X-ray glasses are an American novelty item, purported to allow users to see through or into solid objects. In reality, the spectacles merely create an optical illusion; no X-rays are involved. The current paper version is sold under the name "X-Ray Spex"; a similar product is sold under the name "X-Ray Gogs".
Your eyes are one of the most sensitive areas of your body. They're also one of the most vulnerable to radiation. That's why we carry a broad range of radiation protection glasses based on the most popular designer frames, such as Nike, Oakley, and Wiley, plus value-conscious classic frame styles. Our X-ray protection glasses use industry-standard Schott lenses in both fit-over and wrap-around radiation eyewear styles. Beyond frame color options, many of our radiation safety glasses offer optional lens enhancements, such as fog-free and anti-reflective coatings or prescription Rx lenses. Whether for your hospital, dental practice, or X-ray lab, protect your eyes with a comfortable pair of our lead glasses.
X-Ray Lead Glass is annealed glass that contains lead oxide and other heavy metals. It offers protection against radiation by absorbing the energy of the radiation. Lead glass is used in many medical environments, from dentist offices to hospitals, laboratories where x-rays and other radiation therapy is tested, and even industrial applications like x-ray imaging of welds on airplanes and pipelines.Lead glass is primarily used to protect x-ray technicians and other bystanders in a medical office building or hospital and researchers in medical environments where x-ray diagnostic imaging is taking place. This glass is used to protect from gamma and x-ray radiation in CT scanners, PET scanners, general x-ray rooms, panoramic x-rays, and many more.Due to the magnetic component of MRIs, lead glass cannot be used in these environments.

It appears to be a set of large, futuristic-themed luxurious goggles. Its color scheme consists of red, yellow, brown, blue, and black. The glasses' lenses are blue-colored with a golden "$" symbol on their right and left parts. The strap behind lenses that swifts the player's head is mainly gray colored with two blue small squares at its attachment points. The lenses are attached to the golden-colored part with several brown accents on its body. There's a gray plate on this part which is mainly gray colored and has one red and three blue details imprinted on it.
The average shielding effect of the novel glasses across the seven physicians was61.4%. Our results suggest an improved shielding effect for IVR physicians thatuse these glasses. No physician complained that the new glasses wereuncomfortable; therefore comfort is not a problem.
The lightweight glasses were acceptable to IVR physicians, who often must performlong procedures. Thus, the novel glasses are comfortable and reasonablyprotective. Based on the results of this study, we recommend that IVR physiciansuse these novel 0.07 mm Pb glasses to reduce their exposure.
Table 2 summarizes the results of our study. The average shielding effect of the novel glasses across the seven physicians was61.4%. The glasses come in three sizes (small, regular and large), and it seems thatthe shielding effect did not significantly differ with the size.
One likely reason for this improvement is that the scattered rays coming from belowmay be shielded by the new glasses as the gap between the lenses and the face isreduced through adjustments at the nose and at the temples. Moreover, there arethree different sizes of glasses, possibly further improving fit. These resultsindicate that the novel glasses are useful for reducing eye exposure. 781b155fdc
